Mint leaves are used in cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries: often as a carminative, to treat digestive disorders, liver diseases and choleretic tract dysfunctions. On top of that they’re used to treat rhinitis, inhalation dysfunctions of the throat and bronchi.
Peppermint leaves include: mint oil, ascorbic acid, carotene, rutin, apigenin, betaine, oleanolic and ursolic acids.
